The ILLUMRA E9T-MDS combines occupancy sensing and lux-level monitoring in a single self-powered device that boosts security while cutting energy waste. An integrated solar cell harvests ordinary indoor light to keep the sensor running—so there's no wiring to pull and no batteries to replace. Motion detection stays always active while the sensor reports light levels, and installation takes minutes: just slide it onto its ceiling plate. That makes it ideal for retrofits and new construction alike.

Secure Wireless Control

Communicating over a proven 902 MHz EnOcean radio, the E9T-MDS protects every transmission with AES-128 encryption and unique private-key authentication. Paired with ILLUMRA controllers, it can drive lights, thermostats, HVAC setback, and other electrical loads based on real occupancy and daylight. Key settings configure right from your phone through the built-in NFC interface—no tools, no ladders.

Built for the Way You Build

With 360° hemispherical PIR coverage, light detection from 0 to 65,000 lux, and range up to 656 ft in open field, the E9T-MDS delivers accurate, room-scale awareness. A built-in slot accepts an optional CR2032 for low-light areas, and it's FCC (US) and ISED (Canada) certified.
